Q. What recyclable materials do you accept?

All construction and demolition waste including mixed wood, drywall, metal, cardboard, concrete, asphalt and brick are accepted at this location. These materials may be mixed but there is a substantial cost savings if separated. We also accept green waste from the public and commingled recyclables from commercial curbside programs.

Q. Where are you located?

3360 La Cruz Way, Paso Robles CA. We are just north of Templeton off of Ramada Drive, on the east side of Highway 101. From Ramada Drive take Cow Meadow or Marquita Avenue to La Cruz Way. Just give us a call at (805) 434-0043 if you need directions.

Q. May I submit a receipt from your facility to help comply with the recycling ordinance?

Yes. North County Recycling is recognized as a permitted construction and demolition recycling facility by the County of San Luis Obispo Solid Waste Coordinator.

Q. Do you accept credit card payments?

Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB.

Q. Can I redeem my CRV beverage containers here?

No. We are no longer a buy back location. Please see the IWMA website (www.iwma.com) for a current listing of redemption centers within San Luis Obispo County.

Q. Do you purchase metal, including copper?

No, we do not purchase metal at this time, but we do accept metal for recycling. Please check again, as purchasing may be an option in the near future.

Q. Is material picked up or does it need to be dropped Off?

Accepted material (green waste, wood, drywall, and cardboard, metal, concrete, asphalt and brick) may be dropped off at this facility for recycling. If you are unable to transfer material and wish to rent a roll-off box they are available from Mid State Solid Waste & Recycling with a reduced tipping fee.

Q. Do you have samples of compost and woodchips available?

Yes. Please stop by our office to view samples of our natural, red or brown wood chips. Compost is available on site as well as copies of soil analysis if needed.
